CCS Repair Pricing For Direct TV & HDTV Receivers

Typical turn-around of 6 working days. This includes shipping. Satellite Receivers are generally in-house for less than 48 hours. We repair most units the day they are received. WE BURN-IN our repairs overnight. The following day a trained Quality Control Specialist verifies not only the repair but all other tested parameters of the specific model Satellite Receiver under test.

CCS pays return freight via UPS Ground or Priority Mail. We like Postal Priority Mail. It is a two-day service. The Post Office processes packages on Saturday. They are also less apt to throw your satellite receiver under your bush just to empty their truck.

Six Month warranty on the entire Satellite Receiver, Parts and Labor.  Warranty covers repair of any problem. We cannot cover RE-surged Satellite Receivers under warranty. We stand behind our work but not the work of Mother Nature.

 We do charge test fees for Direct TV units sent in with no problem found. Most of this is to cover return freight. Quite often, we spend more time on these units than we do a broken one.

Please! Please! Pack it well. Especially around the front panel of the unit. Cosmetic parts for these units are expensive and some are not obtainable. CCS will do their best to substitute used parts to fix cosmetic damage due to shipping but cannot be responsible for your packing effort.

HD Tivo Hughes HR10-250 Two options are available

HDMI repair only (with just the HDMI card sent in) $100.00

This includes a six month warranty on the card only. If you don't know how to pull the card send us  an e-mail and we can detail it out for you. It is pretty easy. If you can remove the cover, you can remove the circuit bd. Please ship it in an antistatic bag or wrap it in Aluminum foil to prevent static build-up. DO NOT ship in unpadded envelopes (Yes, it has been done). Takes less than a week and you can have your BEST picture back, reliably, for good.

We have fixed quite a few of these now. It may not be free but it is a lot less stress then calling DTV and complaining.

We see a lot of forums with questions like, "has anybody tried this repair place yet?" The question is rarely answered because once people have theirs fixed they do not have to frequent forums about broken ones. Think of the time this could save YOU.

We Can Fix an HDMI bd that says "HUGHES HDMI CARD 1034054"

To date we have seen no bad cards marked as 1035849. Please do not send these newer HDMI boards to CCS without a prior E-mail describing your symptoms.

Sony HD Repair:   HD-100 now $200 (*Test Only fee $50)

This is a very labor intensive repair effort.  (HD-200 and HD-300 are just $125)

PVR Repair:  (*Test Only fee $35)

Ultimate TV still $130 but we will always include repair of both tuners for the same price.

Should the hard drive be bad the replacement of a standard 40GB drive is included. **

All hard drive configurations supplied by CCS are single drive. This generates less heat and noise than a two drive system.

CCS cannot guarantee that the programs and personal settings saved on your unit will be preserved. (We do not routinely erase) We offer no "recover services".  We suggest you wait a year then buy your favorite shows on a DVD for $15.

Please Do NOT send "Extra" stuff to us. It is just a burden to keep it all together. We Don't need your manual.

Do not send Direct TV access cards to CCS. We offer no services concerning access cards.

Do not send remote controls to CCS. We service this units professionally and we have our own. We offer no services beyond replacement.

Do not send detachable power cords. (Actually, if you are thinking about sending your unit elsewhere for repair and they say they need your power cord we would suggest you ask about their experience in servicing your product.)

Enclose a letter (or a repair form) telling us what service you are seeking and a brief description of the problems with your unit. Make sure we have a daytime phone number to contact you for credit card charges after repair/upgrade is complete. Checks must clear prior to return shipping

CCS suggests that you use a carrier/ service capable of providing you with a tracking number.

*Test Only fee is generally waived if CCS determines your Direct TV unit un-repairable due to our technical expertise. CCS does not waive this charge if we can't fix it because you or someone else messed with it first.
